TOUR DU MONT BLANC EXPRESS - E-BIKE

Departing from Chamonix, France, we will ride in a clockwise direction, passing through the Martigny Valley, Switzerland, on to Courmayeur, Italy, back into France and return to Chamonix to complete the loop!

The trail brings us through alpine flower covered pastures, passes glacial lakes, skims below glaciers and snowy summits, crosses deep valleys and climbs high altitude passes.
Riding around Mont Blanc, is about discovering the magic world of 'high mountain' biking...

Day 1 - September 19th Thursday: pick in Geneva airport and rive to Chamonix


Day 2 - Friday: stage 1

From Chamonix to La Fouly ( Switzerland) including
on ski lift in Chamonix valley .
From the top of CHamonix valley, we ride docn to the town of Martigny via great singletracks, then we ll be pick up and droped off at CHampex to avoid a section on road . From there we'll climb to the bottom of the Val Ferret via a mix of dirt roads and singletracks.
Night in La Fouly

Day 3 - Saturday: Stage from La Fouly to Lake of Roselend

We'll first climb the Grand Col Ferret ( border with Italy) half dirt road , half singletrack, followed by a superbe techy descent
down to the italian val ferret, where we ll have lunch. IN the afternoon an additional climb of 400m including a short hike a bike
section of 10 mn , wil take us on an awesome  suerp scenic balcony singletrack with view over all the south face of the mont blanc
range. A techy descent will drive us down in Courmayeur, our over night stop.
We will start by either a transfer or take the ski lift to the top Col de Checroui and ride another scenic singletrack above the Val
Veni facing the south side of the mont blanc range. After a very fun descent we ll have lunch next to Lake Combal.
After lunch the second part of the climb to Col de la Seigne will take us back to France . (10 mn mandatoty hike a bike section)
Depending of your shape at the end of the descent we ride the road to Cormet de Roselend ( 400m ascent/ 6km  on pavement) or be pick up and droped off directly at the hotel on the shore of Lake of Roselend.

descent: 2500 m + 400m optionnal

Day 4 - Sunday : Stage from Lake of Roselend bakc to Chamonix

We will warm up with a lomg steady climb on dirt road , ending with a 10 mn mandatory hike a bike section to Col de la Gittaz.
The descent is superd is techy on some bits and super fun.
A short climb on 5 mn on pavement will take us to col du joly, followed by the descent to the town of Les Contamines.
A long final climb of 600 meters with a steep finish will bring you to Col de Voza , at the south of Chamonix valley.
Now a fun descent to les Houches and a gentle ride on flat along the river will drive you directly to the Pub where a fresh beer is deserved :-)
ANOTHER  BEER and then  Transfer to Geneva airport

The program may change with inherent variations according to the weather conditions, the quality of the ground, the physical and technical level of the people...

Riding E-MountainBike will help you for climbing, but you still need to have the minimum technical level to complet this trip!!

Seven valleys, 71 glaciers, 400 summits, the Mont Blanc range is inspiring.
The Tour of Mont Blanc is dedicated to riders not afraid of long climbs or to carry their bike, downhills can be technical in places, but the scenery is breathtaking and you will soon forget the pain... We propose an original route known to us like the back of our hands.

We ride in the opposite direction to other tours, giving us the benefit of rideable ascents and fantastic descents free from crowds and close to nature, you will be awed by this legendary location.

LEVEL:  4/5 for advanced to expert riders
Stages from 4 to 5 hours per day on average, progressive stages though never very stiff, uneven positive maximum of 1450 meters and use of ski lifts when possible it is preferable to have a very good physical condition as well as a correct technical level in order to have pleasure throughout the ride. The more hours you put in on the saddle before your mountain bike tour, the more you’ll get out of the whole experience!! So train hard!

Des étapes de 4 à 5 heures par jour en moyenne, des étapes progressives mais jamais très raides, un maximum inégal de 1450 mètres et l’utilisation des remontées mécaniques dans la mesure du possible, il est préférable d’avoir une très bonne condition physique ainsi qu’un niveau technique correct afin avoir du plaisir tout au long du trajet. Plus vous passerez d’heures en selle avant votre randonnée en vélo de montagne, plus vous vivrez une expérience inoubliable! Alors entraînez-vous dur!
