Itinéraire

Departure possible every weeks from July 04th to September 12th

Day 1 (Saturday): meet at the hotel in Chamonix.

Assemble bikes, technical checks and any last minute purchases. We will have dinner together in a restaurant where your guide will provide a briefing for the week.
Overnight in Chamonix.

Day 2 (Sunday):

Going directly with our shuttle bus to the telecabine at Le Tour to start our day of Enduro riding in the Chamonix Valley! The areas of Le Tour and Vallorcine contain superb technical, flowy singletracks with stunning glacier views of the Mont Blanc range. We will use the lifts several times during the day and finish the day with a fantastic 2000m downhill to Martigny in Switzerland!
Transfer and overnight in Verbier.

Day 3 (Monday):

We present you Verbier and its internationally renown bike park!
Since 2015, Verbier has taken the fantastic decision to open all its tracks to the practice of Enduro. A big day of biking awaits us thanks to a wide choice of lifts and trails its hard to know which is the most beautiful.
The views over the Swiss Valais will supply our dose of glaciers and high mountains for the day.
Sleeping well with tired arms and dreams filled with hairpin turns, our appetite for singletracks fulfilled!

Night in Verbier.

Day 4 (Tuesday):

Back on the classic route of the Tour of Mont Blanc.
A short transfer will take us to La Fouly at the foot of the Swiss Val Ferret. Here we begin the climb of the Grand Col Ferret (2537m), the first of the large mountain passes of the TMB.
With 1000m of climb, firstly on a 4x4 track followed by a beautiful trail to the summit, where a breathtaking view of the glaciers of the south face of the Mont Blanc range awaits us.
The descent into the Italian Val Ferret is technical with dozens of small tight turns. A big challenge for most!!
After our picnic lunch, a second short hike-a-bike climb (about 15mins) to reach without doubt one of the most beautiful paths in the Alps.
The balcony trail on the Mont de la Saxe is absolutely sublime with a panorama of the whole south face of the Mont Blanc range and the summit of Mont Blanc, well worth the effort of carrying your bikes!
The last descent of the day to Courmayeur is a delight, alternating rolling sections with hairpin turns. A delicious Italian ice-cream and a cold beer will top off this mythical day!

Day 5 (Wednesday):

Depart from Courmayeur with our shuttle bus for a short transfer to the Italian resort of La Thuile, now famous thanks to the Enduro World Series, World Cup. La Thuile is linked with ski lifts to the French resort of La Rosiere offers  a wide choice of paths for Enduro riders of all levels.
With an incredible view spanning from the Matterhorn and the Mont Rose to the north, through the Mont Blanc range and south to the centre of the French Alps, Les Ecrins and La Meije!
With huge descents on dreamy trails giving us our dose of Italian sized adrenaline!
A good day of biking as we love them!

Night in Courmayeur.

Day 6 (Thursday):

The Col de la Seigne (2516m), between Italy and France is the second highest mountain pass we will tackle on this TMB. We will take the Courmayeur cablecar directly to the Chécroui Pass from where we will ride along the superb balcony trail above the Val Veny with an impressive view of the south face of the Mont Blanc. A beautiful technical descent facing the enormous Miage Glacier to Lake Combal before starting the last 500m of climb to the mountain pass.
The 1000m descent into the Valley of Glaciers is a rolling and playful trail bringing us to the village of Les Chapieux where our shuttle bus awaits for a short transfer to our hotel on the shores of Lake Roselend.

Day 7 (Friday):

On our last day of this TMB we will climb the third high mountain pass of this tour, the Col de la Gittaz (2320m) via a nice 4x4 track ending with a short hike-a-bike of 15min on an unrideable grassy path.
After a playful descent and passing the Col du Joly, a small path crossing the Tré la Tête Glacier allows us to reach a superb singletrack finishing in the village of Les Contamines Montjoie. A small road section to reach Saint Gervais from where we will take the Mont Blanc Tramway to the Col de Voza, the last mountain pass of this Tour of Mont Blanc.
A technical descent towards the village of Les Houches will be the icing on the cake today and will end the week in style. An easy path along the river takes us back to Chamonix.

DAY 8: Group departure and transfer to airport if required.

Informations pratiques

In one week you will ride ENDURO style using ski lifts on the magnificent singletracks of:\r\nCHAMONIX (France),\r\nVERBIER (Switzerland) \r\nLA THUILE (Italy) \r\n\r\nYou will climb the three highest mountain passes on the Tour of Mont Blanc using your own leg power!\r\nGrand Col Ferret 2537m, from Switzerland to Italy \r\nCol de la Seigne 2516m, from Italy to France \r\nCol de la Gittaz 2322m, France\r\n\r\nYou will enjoy the most beautiful panoramas of the Mont Blanc and the most fantastic trails you will have ridden!!\r\n

This tour is classed Level 3 out of 5, both physically and technically.\r\nWhat you need for Level 3…\r\n\r\nPhysical: \r\nYou are a mountain bike enthusiast. You ride 3-4 times a week for at least 90mins each time. You are able to ride at a high pace for short periods (15 mins) and are able to withstand anaerobic stress for 3-5 minutes. You can ride more than 4 hours in endurance and climb 1000m per day over 5-6 days. Pushing or carrying your bike for 10-15 minutes does not frighten you!\r\n\r\nTechnical:\r\nYou have experience and have already ridden many different terrains (wet or muddy soil, roots, stones, tight corners and hairpin bends…) You enjoy singletracks and a challenge. You are capable of hairpin turns on a singletrack and would like to progress. Riding with a steep slope on the side does not scare you.\r\n\r\nFor your comfort and enjoyment, a mountain bike with at least a front suspension is strongly recommended, if you have full suspension you will be in heaven!\r\n
